Ahmadiyya Movement (also known as Qadianism or Mirzaiyyat)

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad is the founder of Ahmadiyya Movement (also known as Qadianism or Mirzaiyyat) which was founded in 1889 in the Punjab, India. His main claim is that he is the "Promised Messiah" and "The Mahdi". However Promised Messiah in the Quran refers only to Prophet Isa (Jesus), Muslim scholars all unanimously agree on that. If Ghulam Ahmad was the Promised Messiah as described in the Quran and Hadith, then he had to do the things that was prophecied by the Prophet Muhammad in his hadith so that people can recognize him as the Messiah, such as:

Promised Messiah supposed to descend from Heaven - (However Mirza Ghulam was born in 1835 in India.)

Promised Messiah supposed to kill Dajjal - (Mirza Ghulam didn't even live up to Dajjal's time.)

Promised Messiah supposed to rule the world from Jerusalem - (Mirza Ghulam didn't even resided in Jerusalem let alone rule the world from there.)

Promised Messiah supposed to convert every single people of the book to Islam as mentioned in Quran (Surah An-Nisa 4:159) - Mirza Ghulam died and people of the book still do not believe in Islam.

Promised Messiah will be Isa (Jesus) - (Mirza Ghulam Ahmad however was a man from India and not Jesus.)

Promised Messiah supposed to abolish jizya - (Mirza Ghulam Ahmad didn't have that kind of authority.)

Let's see why he is not Mahdi either, according to Prophet's teachings these are the signs of Mahdi, let's analyze why these signs do not fit Mirza Ghulam Ahmad:

Mahdi is a descendent of the prophet Muhammad, from the offspring of Muhammad's daughter, Fatimah - Mirza Ghulam is not a descendent of prophet Muhammd. His family is descended from the Barlas tribe of the Moghul family. His ancestors had long resided In Khurasan, a province of Persia, and were the dignitaries of the land.

Mahdi will be born in Medina, Saudi Arabia - Mirza Ghulam was born in Qadian Punjab in India.

Mahdi's father's name will be Abdullah - Ghulam Ahmad's father's name was Mirza Ghulam Murtaza.

Mahdi will emerge during the Last Days of the world from Mecca - Mirza Ghulam emerged from India during a normal time and had died even before the major signs of Last Day.

Mahdi and Jesus are two different individuals - Mirza Ghulam claims he is both of them, he claims he is the Mahdi and Jesus at the same time.

Mahdi will establishe justice, peace and truth throughout the world by establishing Islam as the global religion - Mirza Ghulam could not even establish these things in the small part of India let alone the whole world, instead of uniting muslims he has actually devided them by introducing a deviant sect called Ahmadiyya.

Mahdi will not claim that he is Mahdi, his personality would be known to Muslims by itself - However Mirza Ghulam has consistently pushed his claim to muslims that he was Mahdi.

He died and none of this things happened. Does that make him a holy man or a heretic? If he is not a Messiah and didn't do the things that Messiah had to do then is he a prophet? As we know Prophet (Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him) is the last prophet and there will be no prophet after him. That makes him neither Promised Messiah nor a Prophet. So why people still follow him? Here is why, most of the time Ahmadiyya movement describes itself as an Islamic movement without telling the real message behind this movement. They build Masajid around the world they teach Quran in their Masajid and they claim that they are the true Muslims. Many muslims without knowing the real message behind the movement go to their Masajid, attend their sermons and friday prayers. They also donate their money without even realizing that they are supporting anti-Islamic movement. So the objective of this website is to give correct information about Ahmadiyya Movement to our brothers and sisters in Islam. May Allah guide us all in differentiating right from wrong! Ameen.
